ART AUCTION INCLUDES LIVE MUSIC, BENEFIT COVE CHERRY FAIR

A Funky-to-Fine Art Auction in Cove will begin at 4:30 p.m. Saturday April 26 with a silent auction and an authentic Mexican dinner from 5 to 7 p.m.

The event, planned as a fund-raiser to support the Cove Cherry Fair, will be at Kimsey Commons on Church Street. There will be live music all evening by The Marimba Band, Norm and Shelly Cimon, Jen and Tim Welsh, Melissa Over and Ruthie Davenport, with a live auction at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is $8, $4 for kids 6-10. Children 5 years old and under will be admitted free.

Auction items will include art supplies, frames, drawings, beadwork, weaving and handcrafted items.
