EOU FACULTY RECITAL FRIDAY IN McKENZIE
|
Schumann, Rossini, Mozart and more are coming to Eastern Oregon University. Their music, anyway. Another in the series of EOU Faculty Recitals will take place Friday at 7:30 p.m. in McKenzie Theatre. The program will include Matt Cooper, piano, associate professor of piano and director of the EOU Jazz Ensemble; Peter Wordelman, voice, professor of voice and choral activities at EOU; Keith Koster, bassoon, assistant professor of woodwinds and coordinator of the music education program; and Leandro Espinosa, cello, assistant professor of strings and conductor of the Grande Ronde Symphony Orchestra. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. Proceeds benefit the EOU Piano Project. The music to be performed includes "Dichterliebe" by Robert Schumann, other music by Rossini and Mozart, and songs from the musical theater stage. |
