EOU'S NEW PLAY SERIES SET FOR TONIGHT

The Eastern Oregon University Theatre Department's New Play Series will be performed tonight. The New Play Series begins at 8 p.m. in Loso Hall's Schwarz Theatre. The series showcases the talents of community playwrights of various ages and skill levels as they try out new material on a live audience. The work of playwrights April Curtis, an EOU theater professor; Chris Jennings, Danae Yurgel, Mike Surber, Sam Vore and Christopher "Chrisp'' Plummer will be performed. The plays will be performed in a staged reading format with actors reading and moving with script in hand. The New Play Series has only a one-night engagement. Admission is free.
