LHS SETS SPRING ART SHOW

The La Grande High School Art Department will present its annual spring show April 17-23 at The Potter's House Gallery on the corner of Sixth and Penn streets. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. An opening reception will be held Thursday, April 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. Approximatly 50 students will show their work, mainly from Bob Jensen's art classes, but the show is open to all LHS students. A great variety of styles and medias will be represented including drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture and photography. The show is juried. Medals and certificates will be awarded for outstanding works in each media. A people's choice award is also given by those who attend the opening reception. |
