NEW CONDUCTOR LEADS YOUTH ORCHESTRA

The Grande Ronde Youth Orchestra is rehearsing for its upcoming concert season under the guidance of a new conductor.

Jesse Jones, a senior majoring in music at Eastern Oregon University, replaces Leandro Espinosa. Espinosa continues to conduct the Grande Ronde Symphony Orchestra.

The youth orchestra, currently with a roster of 29 players, is open to all youths. Persons interested in joining can call Greta McAlister at 975-2800, or show up at rehearsal held on Tuesdays, 4:30 p.m. at Groth Recital Hall in Loso Hall.
