Show opens with reception Friday evening

The show will feature a wide variety of work from 14 of the Grande Ronde Valley’s most accomplished artists. From printmaking to ceramics, there is sure to be something for everyone. The concept for this exhibit was to offer up the gallery space to these artists to bring in some of their underrepresented inventory and give the public a chance to see the outstanding talent that resides in the valley. In addition to the quality and diversity of the artwork in this show, the numerous donated pieces make it stand out as an example of the genuine support local artists are offering for the continued presence of an independent contemporary art gallery in downtown La Grande. Viewers are encouraged to check in through the duration of the show, as the work will be rotating on a regular basis. An opening reception will be Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. It’s a chance to meet the artists, other community members and neighbors. The show runs through May 2. The gallery is also participating in Third Thursday Art Walk April 17 from 5 to 8 p.m. |
