TAKE TASTEBUDS ON WORLD TOUR

The International Dinner and Show by the International Relations Club at Eastern Oregon University will be Saturday on the EOU campus. The annual event is designed to share the diversity on campus with the community of La Grande. A variety of cuisines will be represented with dishes such as sushi, Ghanaian fired rice, Thai chicken coconut soup, Bulgarian yogurt and cucumber soup, Korean barbecue and Micronesian fried bananas. The club will provide dances by the Micronesian and Hispanic clubs, musical performances and a fashion show. The dinner will be served from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the student dining room in Hoke Center. The show will be from 7 to 9 p.m. in McKenzie Theatre in Loso Hall. Tickets, at $7, $5 for students, $4 for seniors and children under the age of 12, $3 with valid ID from EOU, or $20 for a family of four or more, are available at Highway 30 Coffee Company, Marie Josephine's, Maurice's, Safeway and either Hoke or Loso at EOU. |
