SINGING FAMILY PERFORMS THURSDAY

The Finleys, a family singing group from the southern Oregon coast, will appear in concert Thursday at Bread of Life Fellowship. The public is invited. (Submitted photo).

A musical family from Coquille will be featured at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bread of Life Fellowship, 3008 Cove Ave.

The Finleys feature traditional to contemporary Bluegrass gospel music.

The family consists of Denny Finley, his wife Marcia, their two children, Rebecca and Aaron, and Aaron's wife Janita.

Denny plays the guitar, Marcia plays the stand-up bass, and Rebecca plays the fiddle, guitar and dobro. Aaron plays the mandolin, guitar and fiddle and Janita plays the fiddle.

The family, all natives of Oregon, tour most of the year, traveling throughout the United States.

Their goal is to share Christ and build up believers in their faith.

The public is invited. A freewill offering will be taken.
