ATTORNEY OPENS PRIVATE PRACTICE

Attorney Anne Morrison has opened a private law practice in La Grande after being with a firm for a couple of years.

Her office is at 115 Elm St., the West-Jacobsen Building.

She has been with the firm of Ricker and Roberson on Adams Avenue since beginning practice in La Grande in September 2000.

Morrison is from St. Paul, Minn. She earned an undergraduate degree in history from the University of Oregon and in 1988 graduated from the U of O Law School.

She was in private practice in Eugene for six years, worked with Legal Aid in Eugene for two years and for the state's Public Defender Office, handling criminal appeals, for 2 1/2 years.
