CYCLE-N-SPORTS HAS NEW NAME, NEW OWNERS

What once was Cycle-n-Sports has a new name and new owners.

Mark and Barbara Larson have purchased the bike store at 112 Depot St., La Grande, from Roger Branstetter and Brett Timm.

The new name is Cycle Sports.

Mark Larson has lived in La Grande for 25 years and been a forester for 30 years.

Ive been a bike enthusiast for quite a few years, Mark said.

Its been a dream of mine to own my own business. To own this type of business is just icing on the cake. I enjoy mountain biking, and its a bonus to be able to make a living doing something I love.

Bicycles he carries include Giant, Gary Fisher and Free Agent BMX. He carries skateboards and snowboards, winter apparel and accessories for all equipment he sells.

We also do service on all products we sell, he said.

Hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10-4 on Saturday. The phone number is 962-7441.
