FENCING MADE LOCALLY
![]() Fencing made locally (The Observer/PHIL BULLOCK). George Meyer, of George Meyer Enterprises, La Grande, donated and installed 100 feet of his fencing Tuesday near the Union County Fairgrounds entrance. Helping is worker Tom Lewis. Meyer manufactures the fencing at the former Schubert & Sons concrete batch plant in Island City. The posts and rails are solid concrete, wrapped in PVC. The fencing is available in three or four rail for use with horses and stock. Meyer said his fencing, called Y.B.F., is maintenance-free and will last a lifetime. |
