ASSEMBLY OF STEEL
The Observer/CHRIS POTTER
Ron Stewart and Ron Lowies of Boise secure a rolled steel angle Tuesday to the roof of Eastern Oregon University's new assembly hall at the new science center. Stewart and Lowies work for B & B Steel Erectors, the company contracted to install all of the building's structural steel and metal decking. The $33.5 million project is adding 67,480 square feet to the Badgley science building on the campus's north end. The center will also have a 7,500-square-foot biotech lab and a 5,000-square-foot greenhouse.
