GRASSROOTS IN UNION

ROLLING OUT THE COUPE: Jesse Hale ran a feather duster over his 1937 Chevy Coupe Tuesday afternoon, prepping the gleaming machine for Saturday's Grassroots Festival in Union. Hale bought the car in 1969 and is still using the tires it came with. He's recently added an "oogga" horn. The coupe has a 216 stove bolt engine. (The Observer/T.L. PETERSEN).
