HOME ZAPPED BY LIGHTNING

If you thought one of Saturday afternoon's lightning strikes sounded like it his close by, you were right. A lightning bolt struck the home of the late Howard Feik, blowing out all of the electrical and telephone outlets. Robert Feik checks out the damage to the phone wiring at the house at N Avenue and Sunset Street. Black burn marks can be found on outlets throughout the home. The house, which is for sale, will require new wiring, Feik said. He is living in the house until it sells, but he was not at home at the time of the lightning strike.
