IC City Council gives green light to housing complex
ISLAND CITY — The Blue Springs Crossing housing complex for low-income residents is set to become a reality.
The Island City City Council voted Monday night to approve an application from Guardian Real Estate of Portland for the Blue Springs Crossing project. The $8.2 million, 38-unit Blue Springs Crossing complex will be located at Mulholland Drive and Walton Road.
Groundbreaking will be conducted in late July or early August, said Daniel Steffey, senior vice president of Guardian Development, a division of Guardian Real Estate Services.
