La Grande Police

Arrested: Joshua Alan Johnson, 28, La Grande, was arrested Tuesday while lodged in the Union County Correctional Facility on a Union County warrant  charging failure to appear on original charges of possession of a controlled substance, distribution of a controlled substance and felon in possession.

Arrested: Shawna Danilovich, 23, unknown address, was arrested Tuesday on a Hermiston warrant charging contempt of court on an original charge of third-degree theft.

Union County Sheriff

Cited: John W. Rumbelow, 36, La Grande, was cited Monday on a charge of third-degree theft.

Arrested: Donald Emery Estes, 60, unknown address, was arrested Tuesday on a Union County warrant charging failure to appear on original charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and violation of basic rule.

Arrested: Mariah C. Meeks, 18, unknown address, was arrested by the Eugene Police Department Tuesday on a Union County warrant charging probation violation on original charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree theft.

La Grande Fire and Ambulance

La Grande Fire and Ambulance crews responded to five calls for medical assistance, three calls for mutual aid assistance for Boise Cascade fires and two calls for water leaks due to frozen pipes between 7:30 a.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
