UNION COUNTY SHERIFF

Arrested: Erik Scott Gilliland, unknown address, 25, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants Saturday morning. Gilliland was also arrested on a Union County warrant for allegedly failing to appear in court on a charge of driving under he influence of intoxicants.  

Arrested: David Shane Oliver, 38, La Grande, was arrested Saturday afternoon on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Arrested: Katherine Colleen Huffman, 35, La Grande, was arrested on a Union County warrant Sunday night. The warrant was for a charge of failure to appear in court on a charge second-degree theft. 

Arrested: Cory Lee Hamilton, 38, La Grande, was arrested Sunday night on a charge of third-degree criminal mischief.   

Arrested: Logan Linville Mulvany, 31, unknown address, was arrested Sunday night on a Lane County parole and probation warrant for an alleged probation violation connected to an original charge of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

Arrested: Mark V. Sagaria, 28, La Grande, was arrested this morning on charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree criminal trespassing.

Arrested: Jonothon E. Rutherford, 28, La Grande, was arrested this morning on charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree theft.

Arrested: James Dewayne Reedy, 46, unknown address, was arrested Tuesday morning while housed in the Union County Correctional Facility on a Baker County warrant. The warrant was for charges of first-degree theft, first-degree burglary, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and second-degree criminal mischief.

Arrested: Amanda Kay Tallent, 30, unknown address, was arrested Tuesday afternoon on a Union County warrant for an alleged violation of a release agreement. 

Cited: Darla Kay Matney, 52, La Grande, was cited Tuesday afternoon on a charge of harassment. 

Arrested: Kenneth Edward Sherwood, 42, unknown address, was arrested by the Oregon State Police Tuesday on a Union County warrant. The warrant was for a charge of unlawful delivery of a imitation controlled substance. 

Arrested: Clayton Forrest Colpitts, 41, Wallowa, was arrested Tuesday night on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), attempting to elude a law enforcement officer, reckless driving, recklessly endangering and second-degree trespassing. Colpitts was also cited on a charge of refusing to take a urine test.

Arrested: Penny Jo Hughes, 37, a transient, was arrested  Tuesday night on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

La Grande Fire
and Ambulance

La Grande Fire and Ambulance crews responded to five calls for medical assistance between 7:30 a.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m.  Saturday. La Grande Fire and Ambulance crews responded to seven calls for medical assistance between 7:30 a.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. Sunday. La Grande Fire and Ambulance crews responded to four calls for medical assistance between 7:30 a.m. Sunday and 7:30 this morning.

La Grande Rural Fire

Medical assist:  On Tuesday at about 9:31 am a crew responded to assist Medic III.

Motor vehicle crash:  On Wednesday at about 8:21 am a crew responded to the report of a single vehicle crash on I-84 near milepost 260.  No one was injured and they were cancelled en route.

Wallowa County
Sheriff

Arrested: Otilia Thiel, 48, Wallowa, was arrested by Wallowa County Sheriff’s Office for probation violation; original charge criminal trespassing. She was transported to the Union County Jail.

Arrested: Michael Adam Swift, 20, Wallowa, was arrested by Colville Police for Wallowa County felony warrant for probation violation; original charge was burglary.

Arrested: Jeffrey M. Lawrence, 37 of Springfield, was arrested by Benton County Sheriff’s office on a Wallowa County warrant for failure to appear; original charge, negotiating a bad check.

Arrested: Garrett James Johnson, 20 of Enterprise, was arrested for a probation violation and transported to Union County Jail.

Oregon State Police 

Cited: Alexander T. Dipetro, 19, unknown address, was cited Feb. 17 on a charge of throwing burning material. 

Arrested: Kyle F. Martin, 30, unknown address, was arrested Feb. 17 on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Arrested: Dale L. Robertson, 58, unknown address, was arrested Feb. 19 on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Arrested: James D. Johnson was arrested Feb. 26 on two Marion County warrants. The warrants were for allegedly failing to appear in court.
