Register by Thursday for Science Saturday

PENDLETON — Members of the Eastern Oregon University Chemistry Club will work their magic at Blue Mountain Community College Nov. 14 for Saturday Science, a free program for middle school students.

Free pre-registration is required by Thursday.

Activities begin at 9:30 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m. in the Science and Technology Building, Room 200 at BMCC.

The grand finale will be a magic show performed by the award-winning EOU Chemistry Club.

During the program, parents are invited to attend a

45-minute session with EOU and BMCC staff to learn about academic opportunities and ask questions about how to prepare their children for a successful college experience.

All students in grades six through eight are invited to attend.

Lunch will be provided for participants.
