Woman listed in fair condition after Minam motorcycle crash

WALLOWA — A Hermiston woman is in fair condition in a Boise hospital after a motorcycle crash.

Gina Williams, 55, was travelling eastbound about 11 a.m. Monday when her Suzuki motorcycle struck the eastbound guardrail and travelled some 50 feet before coming to a stop.

The wreck happened about one mile east of Minam on Highway 82.

Williams was transported to Wallowa Memorial Hospital in Enterprise, then flown to St. Alphonsus Medical Center.

According to the skid marks on the curve to the shoulder of the road, speed may have been involved, an Oregon State Police spokesman said.

The motorcycle was still operable and driven from the scene by the man accompanying her.
