Wanda T. Hug

La Grande

Wanda T. Hug, 86, of La Grande, died Sunday at Grande Ronde Hospital. A full obituary will be published later. Loveland Funeral Chapel & Crematory will be handling the arrangements.


Robert Clarke Burgess

Formerly of La Grande


Robert Clarke Burgess, 87, died Aug. 5 in Sherwood. A memorial service for Bob will be held later. 


Lima Jean Wyland

Formerly of Cove


Lima Jean Wyland, 88, formerly of Cove, died Aug. 12 at her residence in Florida. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Cove Cemetery.   

A viewing will be held at Loveland Funeral Chapel from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. 


John Anderson Graves

Island City


John Anderson Graves, 96, of Island City, died at his residence Aug. 1. There will be no public services. Loveland Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. 


George L. Hall

Formerly of La Grande


George L. Hall, 69, died Aug. 4 near Elgin. No services are scheduled at this time.  To sign an online guest book, go to www.burnsmortuary.com. Ronald Everett “Mac” Lehman, 83, of Union and formerly of Medford, died Aug. 7 at his home. At his request, there will be no public services.  


James Douglas Hale



James Douglas Hale, 73, of Elgin, died Aug. 6 at his residence. A gathering for friends and family will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Summerville
