Gooderham, Abell, Hall, Muilenburg

 


 

Gerald Gooderham

Formerly of La Grande

1929-2013

 

Gerald “Jerry” Arlo Gooderham, 83, died March 16 in Coos Bay. 

Jerry was born in Baker City on Sept. 11, 1929, to William and Laura Gooderham. He graduated from La Grande High School in 1947 and soon began courting Norma Jean Campbell. They were married in 1950.

After the birth of their children, Jerry and Norma moved to Portland and later settled in Coos Bay. Jerry enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a deep love for his family. One of his hunting buddies was quoted as saying, “ I never met anyone who didn’t like Jerry.”

He is survived by his wife, Norma; two daughters, Kristine Franz and Julie Gooderham; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Later in his life, he suffered the loss of two of his children, Jeffery in 1998 and Dena in 2007.

 


 

Homer L. Abell

Summerville

 

Homer L. Abell, 80, of Summerville, died Friday at his residence.  A full obituary will be published later. Loveland Funeral Chapel and Crematory is in charge of his care and arrangements.

La Grande

 

Andrea S. Hall, 66, of La Grande, died Saturday at her residence. A full obituary will be published later. Loveland Funeral Chapel & Crematory will be handling the arrangements.

 


 

Elton M. Muilenburg

La Grande

 

Elton M. Muilenburg, 85, of La Grande, died Saturday at Grande Ronde Hospital. A full obituary will be published at a later time. Loveland Funeral Chapel & Crematory will be handling the arrangements.
