John T. Jones
John T. Jones, 91, of La Grande, died Tuesday at Grande Ronde Hospital. A full obituary will be published later. Loveland Funeral Chapel & Crematory will be handling the arrangements.
Tamara ‘Tami’ Robinson

Tamara “Tami” Jean (Trump) Robinson, 65, of Athena died Nov. 5 in Pendleton. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Athena First Baptist Church. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.pioneerchapel.com.

Jeanette ‘Jan’ Adele Gore
Jeanette “Jan” Adele Gore, 74, of La Grande died at a Portland area hospital surrounded by her family on Nov. 4.
A viewing will be held at Loveland Funeral Chapel from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday followed by a graveside service at Grandview Cemetery in La Grande at 1 p.m.
Jan was born Oct. 10, 1939, in Livingston, Mont., to Edward W. and Edna (Skillings) Clark. She spent her childhood with her twin sister in Livingston, graduating from Park County High School in 1959.
While visiting her older sister, Evelyn, in Alaska, she met and married Johnny Gore on Nov. 17, 1961.
Jan and Johnny moved throughout the United States with his military assignments.
On March 8, 1962, they were blessed with their first son, Raymond Gore, and on Sept. 18, 1965, their son, Les L. Gore, joined the family.
Jan’s greatest joy was watching her sons and then her grandchildren play baseball. Many hours were spent on the sunny sidelines as their cheerleader.
She also enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with her family.
Jan is survived by her sons, Raymond and his wife, Sandra, and Les of La Grande; sisters, Evelyn Abigonds of Washington and Dorothy VanWinkle of Madras; seven grandchildren and two great-grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny; twin sister, Joyce, and parents, Edward and Edna Clark.
