William Aschenbrenner Enterprise
William “Bill” Aschenbrenner, 90, of Enterprise, died Oct. 9. A complete obituary will be published at a later date. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Bollman Funeral Home.
Douglas D. Drill Jr. Formerly of La Grande 1932-2012
Douglas Donald Drill Jr., 80, a resident of La Grande from 1980 to 2003, died Sept. 30 in Gilbert, Ariz. Douglas was born and raised in Portland and attended Lewis & Clark College. Following a 35-year career in music he moved to La Grande, where he owned and operated Custom Tours from 1989 to 2003. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Drill, of La Grande, and his father, Douglas Drill Sr., of Portland. Survivors include his sister, Aileen Drill, of Gilbert, Ariz.; stepson, Richard Jones, of Diamond Springs, Calif.; and aunt, LaVada Herrick, of Portland.
Gordon Lee Union
Gordon Lee, 79, of Union, died Oct. 10 at the home of his son in Union. Arrangements are under the direction of Daniels~Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center of La Grande.
