Obituaries for the day of July 1, 2008

Crossland, Kuchler

Nellie Crossland, 99, of La Grande, died June 28 at a local care center. Daniels-Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center is in charge of arrangements.

Windsor Kuchler, 91, of La Grande, died June 29 at the Grande Ronde Hospital. A service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Daniels-Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center. Burial will follow in the Summerville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Mountain Humane Association. A full obituary will be available later.
