In high school, Don met his life-long love. Don married Charlene Smith in December 1966 in La Grande. Their family grew to four with the birth of a daughter in 1970 and a son in 1973.
Over the years, the family lived in five states. With Don’s love of adventure, they had opportunities to travel and explore the states. He worked hard at advancing in his professional career. For the past several years he has lived in Tri-Cites, Wash., working in the Hanford area as a project scheduler.
Don was looking forward to retiring at the end of the summer. He lived for fishing, clamming, crabbing and every kind of hunting he could think of, especially with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene; daughter, Rhonda; his son, Jeff and his wife, Nancy; three grandchildren; sisters, Linda Page, Jacque Madison and Monaca Hall; brother, Sonny Miles; and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Hall; and father, Robert Hall.

Henry was employed with Precast in Portland until his retirement in 1995. At that time, he and Peggy moved to Union, where they enjoyed serving as camp hosts for the U.S. Forest Service and Oregon state parks. Henry and Peggy were married for 47 years. She died in 2006.
Henry was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and held many positions over the years. He served his country in the U.S. military.
