Joyce G. Bird

Formerly of Enterprise

Joyce G. Bird, 76, of Canon, Ga., and formerly of Enterprise, died May 16 at her home.

Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Joseph Cemetery. A gathering for family and friends will follow at 4 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Enterprise. Joyce and her husband, Geary, were members of the church for years, and Geary served as a pastor there as well. Refreshments and desserts will be served. Bollman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ricky G. Reece

Formerly of La Grande

1948-2009

Ricky Gene Reece, 61, of Dallas and formerly of La Grande, died May 15 at his home. Private family services were held.

Ricky was born May 9, 1948, to Howard Samuel and Hazel Maxine Hepburn Reece in Enterprise. The La Grande area was his home for most of his lifetime. He was a self-employed long haul and log truck driver for many years, retiring in 2007.

Ricky was an avid hunter, fisherman, camper and all around outdoorsman.

He is survived by his daughter, Lori Englehaupt of Dallas; son, Scott Reece of Redmond; and six grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to hospice in care of the Dallas Mortuary, 287 SW Washington St., Dallas 97338.

Cove

Harold L. Dickenson, 82, of Cove died at a Portland hospital Friday. A graveside service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Thursday at Cove Cemetery. A complete obituary will be published later. Loveland Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
