Sept. 26 — Betty Shaffer, memorial service, 2 p.m., IOOF Hall, Summerville

Raema Laurence, 85, of La Grande, died Sept. 12. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Daniels-Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center. The La Grande Order of Eastern Star will be represented in the service. A full obituary will be available later.
