NOTICE OF HEARING UNION COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION APPEAL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Union County Planning Commission, meeting in regular session, November 26, 2007, 7:00 p.m., Daniel Chaplin Building, Earle C. Misener Conference Room, 1001 4th Street, La Grande, will consider an appeal submitted by Gerold Grant of the Planning Director's October 25, 2007 interpretation regarding the land use requirements to establish a 1.8 kw wind turbine up to 105 feet tall and roof mounted 2 kw solar panels both connected to Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative electric power system on property located at 62272 Fruitdale Lane and described as Twp. 2S, Range 38 EWM, Section 33C, Tax Lot 900, about 1.98 acres, in an R-3 Farm Residential Zone. The applicable Land Use Regulations are found in Sections 8.03 & 34.01 of the Union County Zoning, Partition & Subdivision Ordinance. Failure to raise a specific issue with sufficient specificity at the local level precludes appeal to LUBA based on that issue. The application and all information related to the proposal are available for review at no cost and copies can be supplied at a reasonable cost. A staff report will be available for review seven days before the hearing, and can be supplied at a reasonable cost. NOTICE OF HEARING UNION COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION CONDITIONAL USE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Union County Planning Commission, meeting in regular session, November 26, 2007, 7:00 p.m., Daniel Chaplin Building Conference Room, 1001 4th Street, La Grande, will consider a Conditional Use application submitted by Ralph Edwards to establish a design business as a home occupation on property located north of the City of Cove, at 67364 Squire Loop and described as Twp. 3S, Range 40 EWM, Section 10C, Tax Lot 2700, about 1.0 acre, in an R-2 Rural Residential Zone. The applicable Land Use Regulations are found in Sections 7.03 & 21.07 of the Union County Zoning, Partition & Subdivision Ordinance. Failure to raise a specific issue with sufficient specificity at the local level precludes appeal to LUBA based on that issue. The application and all information related to the proposal are available for review at no cost and copies can be supplied at a reasonable cost.
