**Advertisement for Bids** STELLA MAYFIELD RESTROOM RENOVATION AND REPAIR OF BUILDING SUPPORTS The Elgin School District #23 invites bids for renovations of the elementary boys' restroom and repair of building supports. Bidders will provide Elgin School district with copies of certification and/or licenses. All construction and/or plumbing will comply with Oregon Cods as well as the engineering blueprints for this project. The Elgin School District will acquire a building permit for this project, but bidders will acquire all other permits as required. 1. Renovation of Boys' Restroom: • Remove five floor urinals and replace with five wall-mounted urinals. • Repair wall behind the current urinals as outlined in this engineering plans for this project. • show extent of cut-in to school officials before repairing. • Remove approximately 30 inches of concrete floor in front of urinals. • Replace rotting floor joists as outlined by the engineering plans. Show extent of cut-in to school officials before repairing. • Pour new concrete floor to accommodate a floor drain that meets OR plumbing codes. • Urinals are to be hung according to the engineering plans for this project. • The wall behind the urinals will consist of water resistant drywall covered with white abitibi board and rubber cove base, in the color grey. 2. Bidders will provide Elgin School District with copies of certification and/or licenses. All construction will comply with Oregon Codes as well as the engineering blueprints for this project. New Step & Ramp Gym Entry. • Existing storage room at north end of building to be demolished. • Existing exterior doors to be replaced with new exterior doors as specified in the engineering plans for this project. • Replace all steel siding at north end of building. • Build new porch and handicapped access ramp on the north end of existing building as specified in the engineering plans for this project. 1. This project includes concrete ramp, handrails for ramp, and roof for porch area above the door; all out lined in the engineering plan for this project. 2. Cement will be used to fill in any gaps between steps and asphalt created by removing existing steps and existing building on the east side of this new building project.
