TRUSTEE'S NOTICE OF SALE
Reference is made to that certain Trust Deed made by Christine Renee Barber, as grantor(s), to Fidelity National Title Insurance Co., as Trustee, in favor of Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as Beneficiary, dated 03/31/2006, recorded 04/12/2006, in the mortgage records of Union County, Oregon, as Recorder's fee/file/instrument/microfilm/reception Number 20061673, covering the following described real property situated in said county and state, to wit:
LOTS 11 AND 12 AND THE EAST 15 FEET OF LOT 10 IN LOCK 32 OF RIVERSIDE ADDITION TO LA GRANDE UNION COUNTY, OREGON ACCORDING TO THE RECORDED PLAT OF SAID ADDITION.

Both the Beneficiary and the Trustee have elected to sell the real property to satisfy the obligations secured by the Trust Deed and a notice of default has been recorded pursuant to Oregon Revised Statutes 86.735(3); the default for which the foreclosure is made is grantor's failure to pay when due the following sums: monthly payments of $801.97 beginning 11/01/2006 payment plus prior accrued late charges of $.00; plus advances of $50.00; together with title expense, costs, trustee's fees and attorney's fees incurred therein by reason of said default; and any further sums advanced by the Beneficiary for the protection of the above described real property and its interest therein.
By reason of said default the Beneficiary has declared all sums owing on the obligation secured by the Trust Deed immediately due and payable, said sums being the following to wit: $94,073.22 with interest thereon at the rate of 9.625 percent per annum beginning 10/01/2006 until paid, plus all accrued late charges thereon together with title expense, costs, trustee's fees and attorney's fees incurred herein by reason of said default; and any further sums advanced by the Beneficiary for the protection of the above described real property and its interests therein.
WHEREFORE, notice is given that, RECONSTRUST COMPANY, N.A., the undersigned Trustee will on Monday, August 13, 2007 at the hour of10:00 AM in accord with the standard of time established by ORS 187.110, at the following place; outside the main entrance of the Daniel Chaplin Building, 1001 4th Street, in the city of La Grande, County of Union, State of Oregon, sell at public auction to the highest bidder for cash the interest in the described real property which the grantor had or had power to convey at the time of the execution by grantor of the Trust Deed, together with any interest which the grantor or grantor's successors in interest acquired after the execution of the Trust Deed, to satisfy the foregoing obligations thereby secured and the costs and expenses of sale, including a reasonable charge by the Trustee. Notice is further given that any person named in ORS 86.753 has the right, at any time prior to five days before the date last set for the sale, to have this foreclosure proceeding dismissed and the Trust Deed reinstated by payment to the Beneficiary of the entire amount then due (other than such portion of the principal as would not then be due had no default occurred) and by curing any other default complained of herein that is capable of being cured by tendering the performance required under the obligation or Trust Deed, and in addition to paying said sums or tendering the performance necessary to cure the default by paying all costs and expenses actually incurred in enforcing the obligation and Trust Deed, together with the Trustee's and attorney's fees not exceeding the amounts provided by ORS 86.753.
In construing this notice, the singular includes the plural, the word "grantor" includes any successor in interest to the grantor as well as any other person owing an obligation, the performance of which is secured by said Trust Deed, and the words "Trustee" and "Beneficiary" include their respective successors in interest, if any.

The City of La Grande, Oregon, invites bids for the Furnishing of Precast Concrete Three-Sided Bridges for the Taylor Creek Improvements - 2007. The work to be performed under this Contract consists of the manufacturing, hauling, and delivery to La Grande, Oregon, of approximately 170 lineal feet of 17'0" span flat-topped precast conventionally reinforced concrete three-sided culvert structures for the construction of the following four bridges: Driveway No. 1 Bridge - 20-foot length, 5'-0" rise; Driveway No. 2 Bridge - 20-foot length, 4'-6" rise; 18th Street Bridge - 60-foot length, 5'-6" rise; and 20th Street Bridge - 70-foot length, 5'-6" rise, with 29 degree skew. The OWNER will offload the precast concrete units and install the units, including all excavation and backfill, all roadwork over the bridges, and all channel excavation work.
The Contract Substantial Completion Date (delivery of all precast concrete units to the OWNER at La Grande, Oregon) under this Contract is August 6, 2007.
Sealed bids for the described project will be received by Norm Paullus, Assistant Public Works Director, or his authorized representative, at the City of La Grande Shops, 800 X Avenue, La Grande, Oregon 97850, until 2:00 p.m., local time, May 29, 2007. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the same location, time, and date that bids are due.

NOTICE OF BUDGET
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Northeast Oregon Economic Development District, Baker, Union and Wallowa counties, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008 will be held at 409 Fir Street, La Grande, Oregon. The meeting will take place on the 30th of May, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive and to approve the budget document. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed program with the Budget Committee.
