IN THE NAME OF THE STATE OF OREGON: You are hereby required to appear and defend the Complaint For Strict Foreclosure of Land Sale Contract filed against you in the above-entitled cause within thirty (30) days from the date of service of this summons upon you. If you fail to appear and defend, the plaintiff will apply to the court for relief demanded i the complaint.

SUMMARY OF COMPLAINT: Plaintiffs allege that Defendants have failed to make payments as agreed in a Land Sale Contract for purchase of real property located in Union County.

SUMMARY OF DEMAND FOR RELIEF: Plaintiffs seek a decree requiring Defendants to Plaintiffs the unpaid contract balance of $34,719.17 with interest at the rate of 6.5% annum from December 29, 2006 until paid, together with Plaintiff's attorney's fees and costs. If Defendants fail t pay these sums to the Clerk of the Court within sixty (60) days of the date of decree, Plaintiff seek an Order that Defendants be forever foreclosed of all interest i the property, Plaintiffs put in immediate possession of the property, and Plaintiffs have Judgment against Defendants for Plaintiff's attorney's fees and costs. Plaintiffs also seek an Order that Defendants NCO Portfolio Management, Inc., c/o Daniel N. Gordon, P.C., and Brooke R. Taylor be forever foreclosed of all interest or claim in the real property except for any equitable right of redemption

By virtue of a Writ of Execution dated February 22, 2007, for the sale of real property issued out of the above-entitled Court in the above-entitled cause, to me directed and pursuant to a General Judgment of Foreclosure entered in said Court on February 5, 2007, wherein it was decreed that a certain real estate mortgage held by Plaintiff be foreclosed and that the real property subject to the lien of said real estate mortgage be sold, which Writ of Execution commanded me to sell that real property to satisfy the indebtedness set forth in said decree, in favor of Plaintiff United States of America and against Defendant Anne C. Coote in the sum of $130,577.36 ($99,129.56 principal, $31,447.80 interest accrued through January 29, 2007) with interest accruing thereafter at the daily rate of $20.3691 until judgment and interest thereafter at the annual rate of 5.10 percent computed daily and compounded annually after judgment until paid, and the further sum of $22.00 for costs and disbursements therein taxed, plus the costs of and upon this writ;

I HEREBY CERTIFY that I have levied on all the right, title and interest of the above-named Defendant in and to the following-described real property situated in Union County, Oregon, to-wit:

The West half of Northeast quarter (W1/2NE1/4) of Section 13, in Township 3 South, Range 38 East of the Willamette Meridian, in Union County, Oregon

NOW, THEREFORE, by virtue of said Writ of Execution and in compliance with the commands of said Execution, I will on Thursday, May 17, 2007, at 1:00 p.m., on the steps of Union County Courthouse, 1007 4th Street, LaGrande, Oregon, sell at public auction all of the right, title and interest of the Defendant in and to the real property described above, or any part thereof, to satisfy execution costs and indebtedness set forth above. Said real property will be sold to the highest bidder for cashier's check or certified check payable ten percent (10%) at the time of the bid and the balance to be paid by the end of the business day on Friday, May 18, 2007, payable to "U.S. Marshal Service" which will be deposited with the Clerk of the United States District Court. Said ten percent bid will be forfeited to the United States if the successful purchaser fails to pay the balance of the bid, by cashier's check or certified check, at the end of the business day on May 18, 2007. The purchaser is entitled to exclusive possession of the real property from and after the date of sale and is entitled to such remedies as are available at law to secure possession, including a writ of assistance, if defendant[s, or any of them] or any other party or person shall refuse to surrender possession to the purchaser immediately on the purchaser's demand for possession.

COMMITTEE MEETING

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Union County School District #1 (La Grande), Union County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008 will be held at the La Grande Public Library, community room, 2006 4th Street. The meeting will take place on the 16th day of May, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget.

A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 17, 2007 at Union County School District #1 Office, 708 K Avenue, Suite 100, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
