A 30 day period for those individuals or groups interested in submitting oral or written comments on the La Grande Ranger District Bald Angel Vegetation Management Project Environmental Assessment (EA) will begin on December 12, 2006. The project is located approximately 12 miles southeast of Union, OR. in sections of T. 6S, R. 41-43E, and T. 7S, R. 42-43E, Willamette Meridian. The project area stretches from the 77 Road in the Bald Hill area down to the Balm Creek Reservoir area. This project proposes areas of stand density management, fuels reduction, prescribed burning, planting, and access management through commercial harvest, prescribed fire, and piling and burning of slash and down fuels, aspen restoration, hand planting, and an area closure.
Comments should be addressed to District Ranger, Kurt Wiedenmann, at the La Grande Ranger District Office, 3502 Highway 30, La Grande, OR. 97850. Oral comments will also be accepted during this comment period and can be submitted by contacting the District Ranger at (541) 962-8582. All comments must be submitted or postmarked by the close of business on January 10, 2007.

Reference is made to that certain Deed of Trust made by, William J Halsey and Doris F Halsey, as tenants by the entirety , as grantor, to Lucy E. Kivel, ESQ., as Trustee, in favor of TMS Mortgage Inc., DBA The Money Store, as beneficiary, dated 6/3/1997 , recorded 6/6/1997 , under Instrument No. 972348 , records of Union County, Oregon. The beneficial interest under said Trust Deed and the obligations secured thereby are presently held by Citibank N.A. as Trustee. Notice is further given that any person named in ORS 86.753 has the right, at any time prior to five days before the date last set for the sale, to have this foreclosure proceeding dismissed and the trust deed reinstated by payment to the beneficiary of the entire amount then due (other than such portion of the principal as would not then be due had no default occurred) and by curing any other default complained of herein that is capable of being cured by tendering the performance required under the obligation or trust deed, and in addition to paying said sums or tendering the performance necessary to cure the default, by paying all costs and expenses actually incurred in enforcing the obligation and trust deed, together with trustee's and attorney's fees not exceeding the amounts provided by said ORS 86.753.
