MEASURE 37 CLAIMS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Union County Board of Commissioners, meeting in regular session, Wednesday, February 21, 2007, 10:00 a.m., Joseph Building Annex Conference Room, 1106 K Ave., La Grande, will consider two Measure 37 claims submitted by Lauren & Anita Swartz to create a total of eight parcels from 81 acres to 101 acres in size in an A-2 Agriculture-Grazing Zone. The subject properties are located about 16 miles southeast of Union near Medical Springs, on both sides of Oregon Hwy. 203 and are described as Twp. 6S, Range 41 EWM, Tax Lots 1800 & 1805, about 672 total acres. The current owners acquired the subject property on August 22, 1991.

The claims and all information related to them are available for review at no cost and copies can be supplied at a reasonable cost. For further information contact the Union County Planning Department by phone at 963-1014, or stop in Monday through Thursday, 8:30-5:00 p.m.
