INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids will be received by Wallowa School District #12, P.O. Box 425, Wallowa, Oregon 97885 until 12:00 PM, noon, Monday, December 4, 2006, for roofing/siding project of the Wallowa School District Block building. The bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the superintendent's office at 12:00 noon, on Monday December 4, 2006.

The work is to be performed under one contract, which will include all work, required to complete the project.

Bids received after the date and time above will not be considered.

All bidders must comply with ORS.279 pertaining to payment of prevailing wage rates. Wallowa School District #12 reserves the right to reject any and all bids not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and Invitation to Bid requirements and may reject for good cause any and all bids upon finding that it is in the best public interest to do so. The District also reserves the right to waive informalities.

Bidders may not withdraw or modify their bid after the time established for the bid opening.

In accordance with ORS. 279, preference to Oregon residents will be given when awarding the Contact by adding to a non-resident's bid the same percentage, if any, given to the bidder by the bidder's home state.
