NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Union County Planning Commission, meeting in regular session, October 22, 2007, 7:00 p.m., Daniel Chaplin Building Conference Room, 1001 4th Street, La Grande, will consider a Conditional Use Application submitted by Harlan & Coral Bates, Joseph & Jeanie Crawford, agents, to establish a nonfarm dwelling on property located about 4 miles southeast of the City of Elgin, east of Shaw Creek Road and described as Twp. 1S, Range 40 EWM, Section 07, Tax Lot 1000, about 10.62 acres, in an A-4 Timber Grazing Zone.

The Elgin School District #23 invites bids for renovation of the Stella Mayfield side parking lot and turn around project. Bidders will provide Elgin School District with copies of certification and/or licenses. All construction will comply with Oregon Codes as well as the engineering blueprints for this project. The Elgin School District will acquire all other permit as required.

1. Renovation of side parking lot and turn around project:

• Excavate entire parking lot and side grass area.

• Add 4"minus quarry aggregate compact base rock one foot thick, covered by 3/4 crushed rock 2" thick.

• Based rock must be approved prior to bid opening, submit a 5 gallon bucket.

• Pour new concrete sidewalks around and through parking lot.
