NOTICE OF BUDGET
COMMITTEE MEETING
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Union, Union County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010, will be held at Union City Hall, 342 S. Main St., Union , OR. The meeting will take place on May 4th, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. There will also be a brief budget class. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 30th, 2009 at Union City Hall, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING: Notice is hereby given, pursuant to ORS 294.401, that a meeting of the Budget Committee of the North Powder School District 8J, Union County, will be held on the 28 day of April, 2009, at 7:00pm., for the purpose of receiving the budget message and budget document of the district for the fiscal year 2009-2010. The meeting will be held at the Powder Valley School in the Music Room. This is a public meeting where deliberations of the Budget Committee will take place, and any person may appear and comment on proposed programs with the Budget Committee at that time. A copy of the budget document will be available at the time of the meeting. The following dates are the time and place of the scheduled additional Budget Committee Meetings that will be held to take public comment and review budget document. Date May 5, 2009 and May 12, 2009, at 7:00pm in the Powder Valley School Music Room.

North Powder Water System Master Plan

Request for Qualifications
The City of North Powder is soliciting SOQs from qualified engineering firms to update North Powder’s Water System Master Plan in accordance with the “Guidelines for the Preparation of Planning Documents for Developing Community Water System Projects” an interagency document prepared by the State of Oregon, Federal Government and Non-Profit Organizations. A copy of the guidelines is available on the Oregon Economic and Community Development Department website: http://econ.oregon.gov/ECDD/CD/program/watersysproj.pdf.
Work under this contract will be funded in its entirety with grant funds from the Oregon Community Develop-ment Block Grant Program.
Requests for the RFQ packet may be submitted in writing to: City Recorder, City of North Powder, 635 Third Street - P.O. Box 309, North Powder, OR 97867 or via phone at 541-898-2185. The City of North Powder reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
Proposals must be received by 12:00 p.m., PDT, on May 15, 2009, at the North Powder City Hall at the above address. Mis-deliveries, late or faxed submittals will be considered nonresponsive.
