TRUSTEE'S NOTICE OF SALE Reference is made to that certain trust deed made by Doug Johnson, as grantor, to Pacific Cascades Financials, Inc., as trustee, in favor of Klamath First Federal Savings & Loan Association, as beneficiary, dated 04/21/03, recorded 04/23/03, in the mortgage records of Union County, Oregon, as 20032691 covering the following described real property situated in said county and state, to wit: Lot 16, in Block 42 of Riverside Addition to La Grande, Union County, Oregon, according to the recorded plat thereof. The City of La Grande Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at its Regular Session on Tuesday, February 9, 2010, which begins at 6:00 p.m. in the La Grande City Hall Council Chambers, 1000 Adams Avenue, La Grande, Oregon.  The Hearing is to consider an application to vacate the East ten feet (10’) and the West ten feet (10’) of North First Street, situated between Lake Avenue and Division Avenue, all lying adjacent to Lots 7 and 8 in Block 9, and Lots 1 and 14 in Block 10 of RIVERSIDE ADDITION to La Grande; T2S, R38E, Section 31DD, La Grande, Union County, Oregon.  The Application was filed by Neil Hackman on December 14, 2009, and was accepted by the La Grande City Council on January 20, 2010.

The applicable land use regulations are found in Chapter 8, Section 8.10 of the City of La Grande Land Development Code Ordinance Number 3081, Series 2009.  This matter will be referred to the La Grande City Council in March, 2010, and April, 2010, for a decision on this matter.  Failure to raise a specific issue at this Public Hearing precludes appeal to the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals.  A copy of the application and all information related to the proposal is available for review at no cost, with copies supplied at a reasonable cost.  A Staff Report will be available for review seven (7) days before the Planning Commission Hearing, and can also be supplied at a reasonable cost.  For further information, contact the Planning Division at (541) 962-1307.
