TO: POTENTIAL BIDDERS
A. General Contract bidders are invited to submit an offer under seal to Owner for construction of a facility located at 104 North Pine Street before 3 pm local daylight time on the1st day of September, 2009, for the following project: Wallowa City Hall, Tenant Improvements.
B. Project Description: Design and Build Interior Office, in south end of existing Fire Hall, using original Fire Hall Plans.
C. Submit your offer on your Bid Form, Bidders may supplement their form as appropriate.
D. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission.
E. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
F. The Owner may reject any offer not in compliance with all prescribed public contracting agency’s finding that it is in the public interest to do so.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
The City of La Grande Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at its Regular Session on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, which begins at 6:00 p.m. in the
La Grande City Hall Council Chambers, 1000 Adams Avenue,
La Grande, Oregon.  The Hearing is to consider an application for a Conditional Use Permit to install training props and conduct training exercises.  The property is situated in the PF Public Facilities Zone.  Property is adjacent to the Union County Fairgrounds, Southeast of the Second/Cedar intersection,T2S, R38E, Section 31, Tax Lot 1700,
La Grande, Union County, Oregon.  The applicant is City of La Grande.
The applicable land use regulations are found in Chapter 8, Article 8.5 of the City of La Grande Land Development Code Ordinance Number 3081, Series 2009.  Failure to raise a specific issue at the Public Hearing precludes appeal of the Planning Commission’s decision.  A copy of the application and information related to the proposal are available for review at no cost, with copies supplied at a reasonable cost.  A Staff Report will be available for review seven (7) days before the Planning Commission Hearing, and can also be supplied at a reasonable cost.  For further information, contact the Planning Division at (541) 962-1307.
