NOTICE OF BUDGET
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE MEDICAL PARKWAY STREET PROJECT The CITY OF ENTERPRISE invites bids for the construction of anew City Street approximately 1,070 lineal feet in length, to complete Medical parkway from its current terminus just west of Wallowa Memorial Hospital to the east side of Golf Course Road. Contractor shall construct all necessary road grades, base rock, curbs and gutters, catch basins, sidewalks and pavement sin connection therewith. All underground utilities are now in place except for catch basins and the piping tying said basins to the existing storm drains. Sealed bids for the project must be submitted, in accordance with instructions contained in the Contract Documents, to Michele Young, Enterprise City Administrator, City Hall, 108 N.E. 1st Street, Enterprise, Oregon on or before 4:00 p.m. on June 3, 2009; bids will thereafter be opened and read aloud. Bids must be submitted on bid forms provided in the bidder’s packet and be in accordance with the provisions of the Contract documents. The project is being funded by a grant from the Oregon Department of Transportation. The time period for completion of the project is 90 days. The Contract is subject to the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law. The Contractor will be required to pay employees Oregon prevailing wage rates. Contract Document may be examined at the following locations: City of Enterprise, City Hall, 108 NE First Street, Enterprise, Oregon Wallowa Mountain Engineering 121 W. Main Street, Enterprise, Oregon Copies of the Contract Documents and of the Bidder’s Packet may be obtained at Wallowa Mountain Engineering, 121 W. Main Street, Enterprise, Oregon (541-426-4085) upon payment of a non-refundable Payment of $25.00. Each prospective bidder shall provide his mailing address, fax number and telephone number when plans are requested. The Contract Documents will be available on or after May 18, 2009. A pre-bid conference will be held on May 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the westerly terminus of Medical Parkway, just west of the Wallowa Memorial Hospital in Enterprise, Oregon. Representatives of the Owner and the Engineer will be present at the pre-bid conference. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory. May 8, 2009 Irving E.
