ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF LA GRANDE, OREGON 2009 CMAQ Phase III Street Improvement Project The City of La Grande invites competitive bids for a Congestion Mitigation Air Quality Asphalt Mat Project. The project will consist of placing of approximately 24,200 square yards of aggregate base, for pavement base and road shoulder base, preparation, placement of approximately 2,240 Tons of MHMAC Level 2, and raising/lower of manholes, lampholes and valves. This project will be subject to Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates. Sealed bids for the described projects will be received by Norman Paullus, or his designee at the City of La Grande Public Works Department, Engineering Division, 800 ‘X’ Avenue, La Grande, Oregon, until 2:00 p.m. local time, on Thursday, June 18, 2009, and then publicly opened and read aloud the same day, at 2:05 p.m. The contract time for all work shall be 60 days. The City of La Grande may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed requirements listed in the Contract Documents, and may reject for good cause any and all bids upon finding that it is in the public interest to do so.
