NOTICE OF PROJECT APPLICATION ACCEPTANCE

Title III Projects - PL110-343

Union County is currently accepting project applications for funding under Title III of PL 110-343 for fiscal year 2009-10 to begin July 1, 2009. Categories of funding include 1) Firewise Communities Program to assist homeowners in fire sensitive ecosystems that can increase the protection of people and property from wildfires; 2) Search, Rescue and other Emergency Services performed on Federal lands; and 3) Community Wildfire Protection Plans. Applications are available from the Union County Commissioners Office, 1106 K Avenue, La Grande, OR 97850. Deadline for proposals is September 30, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.
