NOTICE OF HEARING UNION COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ROAD VACATION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Union County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on April 16, 2008, at 11:00 a.m., Joseph Building Annex Conference Room, 1106 “K” Ave., La Grande, to review a petition submitted by Scott & Kathleen Ludwig to vacate the following portion of old Ore. Hwy 82 right-of-way: That portion of Unit "H" beginning at State Highway Engineer's Station 1393 + 70 thence to the east section line of Section 12, Twp. 1N, Range 39 EWM. Adjacent landowners and interested persons are invited to submit written or oral testimony before or on the day of the hearing. If no opposition is presented, the Board of Commissioners may grant the request with such restriction as it deems reasonable. A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Island City, Union County, State of Oregon to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009 will be held at 10605 Island Avenue, Island City. The meeting will take place on the 14th day of April, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 14, 2008, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at Island City City Hall, 10605 Island Avenue, Island City. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
