Imbler School District #11 – New Elementary School Project

Sub-Bids for the “IMBLER SCHOOL DISTRICT #11 – NEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROJECT) will be received by the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC), WC Construction (WC), 815 Hemlock Street, Elgin, Oregon 97827 by the time and date listed above. Faxed bids will be accepted. The scope of work for this project includes all work items required to build a new 22,300 square foot elementary school complete with multipurpose room and kitchen facilities, followed by hazardous waste abatement and demolition of the existing elementary school buildings. Work on site will commence in late September, 2011.
A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting for hazardous waste abatement and demolition bidders only is scheduled for Tuesday September 13, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. PST at Imbler School located at 6th and Esther in Imbler, Oregon. A walkthrough of the site will follow immediately after the pre-bid meeting.
Beginning on Monday August 29, 2011, all project plans and bid documents may be examined at the offices of WC Construction in Elgin, or in electronic format at Bronson Lumber Company in LaGrande, the Tri-Cities Plan Center in Kennewick, Associated General Contractors and Spokane Regional Plan Centers in Spokane, The Lewiston Plan Center in Lewiston, the DJC Plan Center in Portland, Central Oregon Builders Exchange in Bend, the iSqFt Boise Plan Center in Boise, or obtained electronically by contacting Jared Rogers or Dave Martin at WC (541-437-5730).
This project is a PREVAILING WAGE project in accordance with Oregon Revised Statutes 279.348 thru 279.380. All bidders must be registered with the Construction Contractors Board and in compliance with all other licensing requirements at the time of submission of their bids.
