REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS ANTIQUE-STYLE LUMINARIES CITY OF LA GRANDE, OREGON
The City of La Grande is seeking proposals from well-qualified manufacturers or vendors to provide the City with a small set quantity of antique-style pedestrian-oriented luminaries for placement in downtown La Grande. The project would replace existing light fixtures.
The City is seeking LED product or other technology that offers approximately 50% energy savings over existing 175W HPS. Product should also be “dark sky compliant.” City is seeking six (6) identical, two-head fixtures per specification sheet.

Proposals will be received until, but not after, 5:00 p.m. (PDT), September 18, 2009, at the Community & Economic Development Department office, City of La Grande, 1000 Adams Avenue, P.O. Box 670, La Grande, Oregon 97850-0670.
The City may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed solicitation procedures and requirements and other applicable law, and may reject any or all proposals in whole or in part when the cancellation or rejection is in the best interest of the City. Preference may be given to vendors located in the Pacific Northwest.
