PUBLIC COMMENT OPEN HOUSE

Avista Corporation, dba Avista Utilities (Avista), seeks to increase its rates for electric service in Oregon.  To provide an opportunity for customers to comment on Avista’s request or to ask questions, the Public Utility Commission of Oregon (Commission) will hold an open house, as follows:

The public is invited to attend the Public Comment Open House anytime from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to learn more about the case.  Open House meetings are informal; attendees can come and go as they please, take information, ask questions and make comments for the record.  Members of the Public Utility Commission Staff and Avista will be available to answer questions from the public during this time.  The Administrative Law Judge will be present to record any comments from customers.  Interested persons not able to attend the open house may mail written comments to the Commission at:

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

RENAMING STREET
RIGHTS-OF-WAY
The City of La Grande Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at its Regular Session on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, which begins at 6:00 p.m. in the
La Grande City Hall Council Chambers, 1000 Adams Avenue,
La Grande, Oregon.  The Hearing is to consider an Ordinance Renaming Street Rights-of-Way situated in the La Grande Business Park Subdivision.  The property is situated in the BP Business Park Zone, T3S, R38E, Sections 16AB, 16AC, 16BA and 16BD, La Grande, Union County, Oregon.
This request is in accordance with Oregon Revised Statute 227.120.  Failure to raise a specific issue at the Public Hearing precludes appeal to the La Grande City Council.  A copy of the all information related to the proposal is available for review at no cost, with copies supplied at a reasonable cost.  A Staff Report will be available for review seven (7) days before the Planning Commission Hearing, and can also be supplied at a reasonable cost.  For further information, contact the Planning Division at (541) 962-1307.
