Publish: January 14, 2011 Legal no. 4220 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Grande Ronde Model Watershed 1114 J Avenue La Grande, Oregon 97850 The Grande Ronde Model Watershed invites bids for the construction of the North Fork Cabin Creek - Culvert Replacement - 2011 project, which generally consists of removing an existing 27-foot long, 48-inch diameter CMP culvert and replacing it with a 46-foot long, 204-inch by 63-inch multi-plate steel bottomless arch culvert. The new culvert has already been purchased. Work will include culvert removal, culvert installation, streambed simulation material placement, rock grade control structure installation, access road restoration, etc., along with excavation, backfill, grading, and all other work, materials, and labor to complete the work. Sealed bids for the described project will be received by Mary Estes, or her authorized representative, of the Grande Ronde Model Watershed at 1114 J Avenue, La Grande, Oregon 97850, until 2:00 p.m., local time, on January 27, 2011. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the same location, time, and date that bids are due. Construction of the project shall be completed between August 1 and October 15, 2011. The time for substantial completion shall be thirty (30) calendar days. The Contract is subject to the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law, and the Davis-Bacon Act (40USC276a).
