Consulting Engineering Services for Small Infrastructure Improvement Projects
The City of La Grande is soliciting statement of qualifications from engineering firms for consulting services to provide overview and approval of plans, specifications and bid documents; to provide requested project engineering services; and other engineering consulting services on a project by project basis.
For a firm to be considered four (4) copies of their qualifications shall be submitted no later than Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. (noon).
Copies of RFP documents may be obtained at the City of La Grande, Engineering Division. The firm shall provide their mailing address, telephone and fax numbers when documents are requested.

TRUSTEE’S NOTICE OF SALE Loan No: xxx5962 T.S. No.: 1310666-09. Reference is made to that certain deed made by David W. Williams and Kimberly A. Williams, Husband And Wife As Tenants By The Entirety., as Grantor to Eastern Oregon Title, Inc., as Trustee, in favor of Community Bank, as Beneficiary, dated October 11, 2002, recorded October 21, 2002, in official records of Union, Oregon in book/reel/volume No. xx at page No. xx, fee/file/Instrument/microfilm/reception No. 20025932 covering the following described real property situated in said County and State, to-wit: Lot one (1) in block sixty (60) of chaplins's addition to la grande, Union county, oregon, according to the recorded plat of said addition. The Grande Ronde Model Watershed invites bids for the construction of Catherine Creek - Davis Dams Fish Passage - 2011 project located near the City of La Grande in Union County, Oregon. The work will generally consist of installing two 35-foot wide steel irrigation diversion radial gates, two 8-foot wide steel multi-leaf slide gates, two 8-foot wide aluminum slide gates, two cast-in-place concrete vertical slot ladder fishways, two bioengineered cross vane grade control structures, two 36-inch culverts, streambed simulation material, and all other work as shown on the Drawings and described in the Technical Specifications.
Sealed bids for the described project will be received by Mary Estes, or her authorized representative, of the Grande Ronde Model Watershed, 1114 J Avenue, La Grande, Oregon, 97850, until 2 p.m., local time, February 10, 2011. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the same location, time, and date that bids are due. Construction shall begin in July 2011 and finish in November 2011.
The Contract is subject to the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law, and the Davis-Bacon Act (40USC276a).

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 1:00 p.m., local time on February 1, 2011. The pre-bid conference will be held at the Grande Ronde Model Watershed, 1114 J Avenue, La Grande, Oregon 97850. Representatives of the Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the project. Bidders must attend the conference in order to bid on the project.
