Box 670 La Grande, Oregon 97850 The City of La Grande, Oregon, invites bids for the construction of Riverside Park Pavilion - 2011. The work to be performed under this Contract consists of the construction of a 5,000 square foot wood-framed structure with concrete foundation and floor slab. Bids are being requested for the Pavilion Base Bid and two bid options: Bid Option No. 1 – Completing a kitchen and two storage rooms, and Bid Option No. 2 – Completing a kitchen, a toilet room, a hallway and a janitor room, as shown and described on the Drawings. Sealed bids for the described project will be received by Robert Strope, City Manager, or his authorized representative, of the City of La Grande at the City Manager's Office, City Hall, 2nd Floor, 1000 Adams Avenue/P.O. Box 670, La Grande, Oregon 97850, until 2:00 p.m., local time, August 4, 2011. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the same location, time, and date that bids are due. The Contract Substantial Completion date is March 17, 2012. The Contract is subject to the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law. Alternatively, the Contractor may request a paper copy of the Bidder's Packet and a CD containing a printable pdf version of the Contract Documents and Drawings for $25.00. Only a Bidder's Packet obtained from the Engineer shall be used for bidding purposes. The Contractor shall provide his/her mailing address, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail address when Contract Documents are requested. The Contractor shall also identify him/herself as a prime contractor, subcontractor, supplier, etc., as applicable. The Contract Documents will be available after July 19, 2011.
