NOTICE TO INTERESTED
Union Soil and Water Conservation District STANDARD PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT CONTRACT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received by the Union Soil and Water Conservation District at 10507 N. McAlister Road, La Grande, Oregon, 97850 until 1:00 p.m. local time June 30, 2009 for the Oro Dell Diversion Fish Passage Enhancement project located at SW Qtr of SW Qtr of Section 31, Township 2 South Range 38 East, in Union County, Oregon. The project includes the installation of rock structures and appurtenances. A mandatory pre-bid conference and examination of the site and conditions will be conducted at l0:00 a.m., June 24, 2009. Bidders shall meet with the Owner's Representative at the “Irrigation Canal Company” diversion headgate located at corner of Harrison Avenue and Third Street, west of Rapid Run Loop on “B” Street, La Grande, OR 97850, for that purpose. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud on June 30, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. local time, at the office of the Union Soil and Water Conservation District by the undersigned or a designated representative. Bids will be received on an itemized lump-sum basis for all listed work. Contract documents may be obtained at no charge, by request at the Union Soil and Water Conservation District offices at10507 N. McAlister Road, La Grande, OR 97850, or can be delivered by mail upon written request. All bidders must comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law in ORS 279C.800, through ORS 279C.870. All bidders must be registered with the Construction Contractor's Board at the time of bid submission. Bidders shall submit evidence of "Affirmative Action Compliance" as required by any Affirmative Action Requirements issued with this procurement. No bid will be considered unless fully completed in the manner provided in the "Instructions to Bidders" upon the Bid Form provided and accompanied by Bid Security.
