The City of Elgin, Oregon invites all qualified bids for the renovation of the Elgin Opera House.
 The project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Grant, under the EECBG.
The project consists of window and door upgrades, restorations and replacements, selected building insulation upgrades and brick masonry restoration.
Although there will be no pre-bid meeting or conference, all bidders and prospective bidders are required to visit the project site prior to submitting bids. The owner will make no interpretations of bid documents, bid requirements or any other aspect of the project during site visits or otherwise, other than in writing to all registered bid document holders if and only if time allows such to occur.
Bid documents are available at the following location, Elgin City Hall during the hours of 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday thru Thursday. Sealed bids are due at the City of Elgin, P.O. Box 128, 180 N. 8th Ave., Elgin, Oregon 97827, 541-437-2253 by 2:00PM on Thursday, March 11, 2010. Bidders are responsible for method of delivery of bids, and late bids will not be accepted."
